Which solder do I use to add a large bezel around a pendant?

Which solder do I use to add a bezel around a stone which has silver underneath?

This piece will have small diamonds which I will give to a Setter also.

Thanks,

That is My Question
by: Anonymous

I am working on a gold pendant.

Can I use the 22kt gold hard solder on the bezel in the center? The center bezel has an inner silver bezel and an outer 22kt gold bezel.

Thanks.

As a novice i do not want to burn this part of the pendant or melt it.

Solder
by: John The Jeweler

When I am joining gold and silver, I use silver paste solder. If I were soldering just 22k gold, I would try 18K easy solder, just to try to maintain the color. Use lots of liquid flux.

What about Bronze soldering
by: Grampat

What do you use to solder hypo-allergetic posts to bronze. I have fabricated the bronze out of PMC but didn’t attach any post to it. I hate gluing them on, as it looks crummy.
Thanks John the Jeweler.
