I am making a memory wire necklace. I would like to

space the beads, but the crimps won’t stick to the memory wire.

spacing beads with memory wire
by: Deb

use a crimp tube or bead that “just fits” over the memory wire but one that the beads your trying to space doesn’t slip over and add a dab of Bead Fix glue from Beadalon to hold the crimps in place. The glue is also used to hold the memory wire “end beads” (not sure what the official name of the beads are) in place. You can also use the clear silicone earring backs to keep the beads in place. Or you can get the beads that already have silicone in them and use them as stoppers. I have seen rubber tubing used as spacers for beads on the memory wire as well.

Good luck and happy beading,

Deb 🙂
