A beautiful and elegant necklace made using millefiori glass beads.

Description: A very fun piece by Heather, made using millefiori glass beads and some black and silver wire.

I bought these fabulous Murano millefiori glass beads as they reminded me so much of our indigenous people’s paintings, hence the name (this magnificent mountain used to be called Ayers Rock and is deep in the Northern Territory of Australia).

I teamed them with some black and silver wire and a fabulous red oval focal bead, and voila . . . a divine necklace to wear with a LBD!

Very nice! I am curious, though, what did you use for your base? And if it wasn’t wire, had did you get the wrapped wire to stay where you wanted it?

this is one the the most beautiful pieces I think I have ever seen. It is so simple yet major elegant and the colors just draw you in. I have been to Uluru and this absolutely hits the mark.

wow – I want to steal the design…..
