I’m Trying to attach alligator clip to a hemp necklace.

I threaded the string thru one of those spring-y looking things then thru the small hole on the clip and back down thru the springy thing and glued it.

I then tried to tie knots but they looked bulky.

Any ideas for a neater way to perform this chore? Thanks!

Try a jump ring through the small hole–if there isn’t one, put one in gently with a nail and hammer, then use a pliers to squish down the rough spots.
