How do you connect very tiny chain?

I have some very tiny chain that is soldered but I don’t have any jumprings that are that small and I haven’t seen any.

I need to connect the chain and add a clasp and jumpring. How do I do that?

Try A Figure 8
by: StudioDTQ

You could use thinner gauge wire (say 24, 26 or 28 gauge- it would depend on how fine the chain it) and make a wrapped figure 8 to attach the chain to the clasp and then another.

I would also suggest a soldered closed jump ring if you have one. If not, then make one side of your other figure 8 larger to accommodate the clasp.

What size chain do you have- do you have a picture?
