Beautiful Work
by: Tina S.

Bob, I just took a look at your work and WOW, just beautiful. I wish I lived closer to take lessons from you.

I haven’t tried wire sculpting yet, but I’m very interested in it. I will have to check out Preston Reuthers site. I just got a book of Dale “Cougar” Armstrongs work. I can’t seem to find anyone here in the Western New York area that teaches wire sculpting,so I will have to rely on Preston and Dalefor now. LOL

African Agate And Others
by: Bob Keil

The source of my initial inspiration was and is Preston Reuther. He has CD’s and other items on his website. Good luck with the learning.

I am in North Syracuse, NY and teach within 30 miles of home. Will go farther for larger groups.

The base is quite easy to understand after that its what you want to accomplish. With me I know what I start out to do, but somewhere in between my hand take over and the piece comes out slightly different. Sometimes nicer.

Each piece is individually unique because I can not do the same thing exactly even if I had the same piece of stone to start with.

After awhile it becomes a contest with yourself, saying I can Sculpt that!

Thanks
Bob

My website has my e mail address if you need more info.

Pretty Pendant
by: Rosemarie

Love the pendant!

Linda,
Try Ebay for African agate or other stones. I have been very lucky there, they are cheap too!

Happy Hunting…:o)

Response To Comments
by: Bob Keil

The stone was purchased on Etsy from another crafts person. Etsy has all if you lo0ok and follow. Search, you can find any and all.

As to my website being unreachable – I do not find it that way.

Type in www.stonegrafix.biz then click catalogue and you will find two selections. One is earrings and the other is pendants. Choose what you like.

I appreciate all the comments about my work. I guess I am an egotist, you make my head swell and I love it.

Love To See More Of Your Work

I do wire wrapping too. In my business, I don’t copy the work of others, I make my own up, I say one-of-a-kind.

I would also like to know where you got the stone.

I think this is the second time you showed an African agate and I can’t find one. Can you help?

Really good job!

Links Do Not Work
by: Anonymous

Went to your website – your links do not work – only the pendant one brings up jewelry pics – the rest is to an error page – thought you might want to know.

Nice wire work
by: Anonymous

I like that you used just one twisted wire to help set off the stone. Nice job.

Great work. Wire design compliments the stones design without overwhelming it.

Gorgeous! Great use of the gold in the stone and the surrounding wire work. The circle effect really pulls your eye in and concentrates on the stone’s beauty.
